Stan Pacak, CA

Stan began working as a CA student in the Winnipeg office of Dunwoody Saul Smith in November 1966, and transferred to its Swan River office in 1967.

Stan graduated as a Chartered Accountant in December 1972 and went into partnership with Vern Hardie and Dennis Kowal under the name Hardie & Company.  In 1973, he along with his partners purchased the Swan River practice of Dunwoody & Company.

In 1973, the partnership Hardie & Company (now PKHC) purchased the Swan River practice from Dunwoody & Company.

Stan is married to Diana.  They enjoy spending time together at Wellman Lake.

Linda Cole, CPA, CGA

Linda was born in Winnipeg and as an infant moved to Swan River Valley, and has lived here all her life, on the family farm located in the Little/Big Woody district.

Linda received her grade 12 diploma from the Swan Valley Regional Secondary School in 1983.  Linda joined the firm Hardie and Company in 1987 and received her CGA designation in 1998 and her CPA designation in 2016.  She was admitted as a partner of PKHC in 2012. 

Linda married Frank in 1987 and they have two children, Ashley and Tyler.

Linda and Frank currently reside on the Brown Homestead Farm of her parents/grandparents in the Little/Big Woody district.  They operate a certified organic grain farm.  Linda and Frank also have registered and purebred Belted Galloway cattle and 300 head of purebred Khatadin sheep.  Linda and Frank are members of OCIA Chapter #6, Manitoba Paint Horse Club, and Manitoba Sheep Association.

Linda and her family enjoy many activities including horseback riding, showing horses, 4-H activities, camping, swimming, model airplanes, snowmobiling, and just spending time outdoors.

Bruce Hardie, CPA, CA

Bruce graduated from the Swan Valley Regional Secondary School in 1974.  He received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba in 1978.  He joined Hardie and Company in 1978 and achieved his CA designation in 1983.  He was admitted as a partner of the firm in 1992.  He has over 45 years of experience serving clients from the Swan River Valley and outlying areas.  He is a member of both CPA Manitoba and CPA Alberta.

He married Theresa (nee Hayman) from Bowsman in 1981.  They have three children, Rae-Anne, Steven and Amanda.  Bruce is active in the Swan River Elks lodge.  He also enjoys curling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Barbara Beadle, CPA, CMA, CA

Barb was born and raised in the Swan River Valley, and has lived here all her life, with the exception of two years spent in Brandon while attending college.

After graduating from high school, she received her Business Administration diploma from ACC.  She has been working in public accounting since 1989 and has worked at PKHC since 1992. Barb received her CMA designation in 1994, received her CA designation in February of 2000 and her CPA designation in 2016.

Barb married her high school sweetheart Larry in 1990, and they have two wonderful children, Karley and Matthew. They purchased Barb’s parents’ farm in 2007, where they continue to raise cattle and help their family farm today.

Deanna Chess, CPA, CGA

Deanna was born and raised in Swan River and has lived here for most of her life. She moved to Winnipeg in 2007 to attend Red River College.  She graduated from Red River College in 2009 with her Business Administration diploma and moved back to Swan River to begin working in public practice.  She has now had several years of public practice experience.

She enrolled in the Certified General Accountants Program of Professional Studies in 2010 and received her CGA and CPA designations in 2016.

Kyla Tibbett, CPA, CGA

Kyla grew up on a farm near Yorkton, SK. After high school she began her post-secondary education through distance learning and achieved her SIAST Business Certificate,  then her University Certificate in Accounting from Athabasca University. In 2006 Kyla enrolled in the Certified General Accountants program which she navigated through  while working full-time at an accounting firm. In 2016 Kyla earned her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree through Laurentian University and in October 2016 she also earned her designations in both the CPA and CGA programs.

In 2005 Kyla and her spouse, Greg, moved to Swan River to enjoy the vast outdoor activities that it has to offer.  They spend most of their free time at the many lakes around Manitoba. Kyla also volunteers her time as the acting Treasurer  for the Swan Valley Animal Protection League.

Justin Delaurier, CPA, CA

Justin graduated in 2007 from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree and achieved his CA designation in 2010 and his CPA in 2016.

He married Stacy (nee Bruce) in 2012.  Justin and Stacy have three wonderful children.

Tina Reimer, CA

Tina has worked on a contract basis for PKHC for many years.

Wendy Gmitrowski

Originally from Winnipeg, MB, Wendy moved from Thompson, MB in May 2000, where she was employed with a progressive Airline Company as an Accounts Receivable Officer.  In Winnipeg she was employed with a Major Bank, and brings many years of office related experience.  She enjoys curling, walking and spending time with her family.

Ashley Cole

Ashley has worked for the firm for many years. She is currently working towards her Commerce Degree.

Christina Danyluk

Christina started with PKHC in the fall of 2022.

Naomi Griffith

Naomi is originally form Brandon where she was the General Manager of the Brandon Super 8 for 6 years.  She was offered the General Manager position at the Swan River Super 8 and moved to Swan River in the fall of 2002, where she opened the Super 8 in January 2003 and dedicated her next 20 years.  In all of Naomi’s jobs she has always been involved in the bookkeeping/accounting of the business, so it is only fitting that this is her next chapter.

Suzanne Eggie

Suzanne has been employed at the firm since February 1980 and has seen many changes over the years.

Gail Sonnenberg

Originally from the Swan River Valley, Gail moved back to the Valley in 2004.

While being transferred all over Manitoba with her husband, Gail worked in Winnipeg for several years for Indian and Northern Affairs Canada in the Compliance and Verification Unit and also in the Human Resources Unit.  Prior to that, Gail worked for the RCMP as a Detachment Clerk in Lynn Lake, Manitoba.

Gail brings many years of experience in the Clerical and Administration field and has been employed with the Firm since June 2006.

Carolyn Gordon

Carolyn came to the Swan River Valley in 1989 and loved it here so much that she decided to make it her forever home.

She married Robert Gordon and they became the 3rd generation to raise a family on their Century Farm near Kenville. They have two amazing children who have both chosen to settle in the Swan Valley and pursue their careers, as well as two awesome grandchildren!

Carolyn spent 15 years with the TD bank where she worked her way up from teller to investment banking and small loans, eventually managing the satellite branch in Minitonas. In 2004 Carolyn moved over to Municipal Administration completing her CMMA while working full time as a CAO for the Town & RM of Minitonas. Later on she spent a few years as CAO for Swan Valley West. Carolyn joined our administrative department in the fall of 2017 and has enjoyed her job and getting to know the wonderful staff at PKHC!

Stephanie Wigley

Stephanie was born and raised in Swan River and has lived here for the majority of her life. She left Swan River for three brief years to attend Dalhousie University’s Agricultural Campus where she received her Business Administration diploma.

She currently works for PKHC on a part-time basis.

Stephanie is married to James Wigley and together they like to travel.

Helen Barker

Helen has worked on a contract basis for PKHC for many years.

Sherri-Lyn Scott

Sherri works for the firm on a contract basis and also farms near McCreary with her father.
